I believe that everything happens for a reason, especially the people you meet in your life. Some people come, and others go. Some people stay for a bit, some people stay forever. However, it is up to you to decide who you keep, and who you don’t. Who you care for, and who you keep your distances from.
It’s funny, as human beings, we tend to give less attention to the ones who really care for us and pay more attention to the ones who want to take more than they tend to give. Why is that? I will never know. Perhaps it’s our nature, a nature that only we can control. You can’t let your human nature take advantage of you, as you’re the only one in control of your mind, your body and your soul.
Then, one day the people we care for the most in our subconscious go, or almost. And you wake up. You wake up to realize that you can lose a piece of you that meant something somewhere deep down.
Pick up the phone and use whatever means of communication that you have to reach out to someone. It can be anyone. It can be someone you have never spoken to, it can be someone you put on the sidelines for a while, or someone that’s close to you.
Just do it. You never know how good you will feel afterwards. It’s not about you, it’s about them. You can change ones world by letting them know, or feel, that you even had that thought. Let yourself loose for a moment and you might be able to fill in something that was missing inside of you, or maybe a worry that you’ve always had, a thought, a memory.
